How shipping with JRC works

From the US store’s checkout to collecting your package in Jamaica, in the order it happens.

The four steps

  1. Step 1: Create your account

Your account keeps your pre-alerts, invoices and package updates in one place.

  2. Step 2: Choose air or sea, then copy your address

Each service has its own US address. Put your full name in the first-name box and the JRC identifier in the last-name box, exactly.

  3. Step 3: Shop, then send a pre-alert

When the store gives you a tracking number, tell JRC the package is coming and upload the store’s invoice.

  4. Step 4: Follow updates and collect

JRC updates your package in your account as it moves, and tells you when it’s ready to collect.

Use the right address, the right way

JRC has two US addresses: one for air and one for sea. At the store’s checkout, put your own full name in the First name box and the JRC identifier in the Last name box, exactly as shown. For sea, address line 2 also carries the sea identifier. The identifier is how the warehouse knows the package belongs to JRC and which way it travels, so never shorten it.

Copy the air or sea address

Send a pre-alert with the invoice

When the store ships, it gives you a tracking number. Log in and send a pre-alert: the tracking number, the store, what’s inside, what you paid in US dollars, and the store’s invoice or receipt. A pre-alert is notice that a package is coming. It isn’t a pickup booking or proof the warehouse has it.

No invoice yet? Send the pre-alert anyway and add the invoice from the package’s page when you have it. If one invoice covers several boxes, upload it to each and say so, so the full order value isn’t counted once per box.

The store delivers to the warehouse

When the store or carrier says “delivered”, the package has reached the warehouse door. The warehouse then records it, and JRC updates your account. Those are two different moments, so give it time before you worry.

JRC updates your package

Your account shows each step as JRC’s warehouse system or JRC staff record it: at the Florida warehouse, on the way to Jamaica, arrived in Jamaica, with customs, ready to collect. Every update shows its date and time. If something needs your attention, like a missing invoice, the package says so at the top.

Customs

Jamaica Customs reviews imports. It expects an accurate declaration and may ask for proof of what you paid, which is why the invoice matters. Duties and taxes are set by customs, not by JRC.

Collect

“Arrived in Jamaica” doesn’t mean ready yet: customs and sorting come first. JRC tells you when your package is ready to collect, and how.
